The Nova
My brochure copywriting services were engaged for the creation of The Nova’s mall leasing brochure. Available in print and digital format, the brochure is given to the mall’s prospective tenants.
Contents include The Nova concept and story, lifestyle offerings, details on Macau and the surrounding area and practical information like location, accessibility and details on leasing units.
Brochure Copywriting Process
The first step in the brochure wiring process is to fully understand the target audience. As I was writing a leasing brochure for tenants, rather than shoppers visiting the mall, the content needed to provide practical information that would position The Nova as an ideal location for retailers.
Not just a mall and place to shop, The Nova is heavily focused on the lifestyle offerings it provides – dining, recreation, living and working all in one place. To reflect this, the brochure takes on a magazine-like feel to communicate the mall's strong community and lifestyle concept.
Pamphlet Editing and Design
After fully understanding The Nova Project, including the residential, retail and lifestyle offerings, we created the brochure pagination which acts as its skeleton. The pagination details what information goes where, the location of imagery and key messages to include on each page.
After writing the content for the brochure it was reviewed by the client and any necessary edits were made until final approval. I then worked with the design team to ensure the copy and design worked seamlessly together. This included ensuring selected imagery and maps corresponded to the text, that headers and layout enhanced readability and that the brochure comes together with a strong visual and text narrative.
